Contest, Scavenged Sacks of Stuff, and Katia…

Hey, Cisco the Harwich Spirits Shoppe blogging cat here…

First off, I hope you know about our contest and our Scavenged Sacks of Stuff (SSOS)… Got to check this stuff out…

Next… well, take a look. Here’s Hurricane Katia as NOAA sees it:

Here we are right now…

And this is what it looks like three days from 8PM Mon. — Katia still out in the Atlantic, but a cat 4 and nothing to mess with…

And finally,

That last shot is the five day projection… What on earth does all this tell us?!? Well, it says that come the middle to end of this week there’s another possible ‘wind event’ — that is to say that we might have another blow like Irene gave us. (Wow, did that come out wrong!) But you get the idea… We here at the old Harwich homestead suffered $1,500 in damage from a downed tree, and lost power for 24 hours because of Irene…

So… Once again, I ask, Are you prepared??? It might just be a good idea to stop by the store and stash away a few cases of wine, and if you have a freezer, a few bags of ice…

Ready by the racks,

Two cats blogging…
