Cisco the Blogging cat here… First, congrats again to Roby for winning the word search contest. The solution (including the mystery tool/word in red) is shown below…
(BTW, a ‘scorp‘ is a craving tool…)
But keep in mind, that isn’t the only contest – there remain two others!
Thought we might leave HSS behind for just a bit, and travel out into the ether… More specifically to the edge of our solar system. Take a look at Voyager 1…
That nuclear-powered puppy was launched in 1977 (the year Elvis Presley died) and now is just about to leave our solar system. (We can tell this by its measurements of heliospheric activity – that is to say the sun’s ‘ooomph’ in our little solar system – which the Voyager is reading at about zipoid.) Sooo all you cats and kittens, that means that that probe is about 10 billion miles out there and still chugging along at 38,000 mph. In another four years, she will have slipped the sun’s bonds to perhaps touch the face of God. Who knows who’ll find her? Or will it simply hit something? Or perhaps Voyager will pathetically chase an ever-expanding edge of the universe, or even be crushed by a collapsing universe… Who knows?
Pondering by the racks,
