Breaking: Super Bowl Ring Raffle

Hey,

Don’t ever say that Cisco (the Harwich Spirits Shoppe cat) didn’t give you a scoop…

Drew Brees just announced on Fox News that the New Orleans Saints are going to raffle off a Super Bowl ring with the proceeds going to the victims of the Gulf Coast oil spill. The site used to enter isn’t up yet, but you can read more about it here: http://happeningnow.blogs.foxnews.com/2010/06/08/the-saints-the-saint-the-saints/

So keep an eye on the actual entry site: www.saintsgulfcoastrenewal.org

Waiting by the racks!

Hi Bruce & the two cats!
Thanks for the coverage of the oil volcano in the Gulf. & remember it wasn’t just “environmentalists” like Kennedy that opposed the Wind Farm. Koch Industries, one of the biggest air & water polluters in the world, was strongly against it. Remember when Koch joined as honorary chair of the opposition, and the oil/gas/coal billionaire said he opposed the Wind Farm “to save us from the greedy capitalist @ Cape Wind” (and because it would have obstructed his view)?
Sorry you couldn’t grab a bottle of Sam Adams Utopia!
