Da Gizz here… Just a head’s up from a friend… (This isn’t an advertisement for Harwich Spirits Shoppe or anything like that. This is just a tip from someone who’s lived around here for a few decades.) Something very special happens for four days in the summer here in Harwich. We have a “stroll” which basically consists of a number of local bands and a bunch of businesses along Rt. 28 in Harwich Port who do their very best to display the essence of Harwich. Just walk the sidewalks and enjoy the music… Don’t expect the crush and excitement of L.L. Bean Freeport Maine. And don’t expect the cost either. Parking is free, and if you stop by here the wine tasting is free… In general the atmosphere can best be described as “relaxed”.
The dates are:
- July 7, 6 PM – 9 PM
- July 21, 6 PM – 9 PM
- August 4, 6 PM – 9 PM
- August 18, 6 PM – 9 PM
If you get the chance, you really should stop by and witness Harwich at its finest.
